When girded for battle, he is known to wield his Arch Mage Skybreaker Staff (Ultimate), and is arrayed in his Elaborate Robe of the Arch Mage (Mind Boggling) and Living Quartz Amulet (Fin). Foes are said to wither before the might of his Grimoir of Infinite Storms (Mind Boggling).

Maccabeus is often seen riding into battle on his Fine Steed.
